Well, we couldn't resist. We went to Ultraview and got another ultrasound done. The last one I had was about 5 weeks ago, and the one at the doctor's office two weeks ago was really short and we couldn't see much, so....we wanted to see our little girl again!
I can't believe how much she has grown since we were there last. She has almost doubled in size and is extremely active. In fact, it was hard to see what was going on in some parts of the ultrasound because she was turning and moving all around. Thom says he hopes this isn't a sign of what's to come after she's born (a hyperactive child) LOL. I don't care, I'm just glad she appears to be happy and active and enjoying life inside her little home.
The first photos are of the traditional 2D ultrasound, the next ones were taken in 3D (the yellow ones). Typically they don't recommend doing the 3D view until around 28 weeks and beyond, so you can get the best, clearest image, but we got some decent shots at 21 weeks yesterday. You can bet that we will be back for the 3D later on (and maybe even before that if Thom can't hold out any longer :) )
By the way, she weighs about a pound now. She is so sweet!
