We finished up our Lamaze class this weekend with a 4 hour class on Friday night and then an all day class on Saturday. It included a tour of the hospital where I'll be delivering, and we got to see the actual room that I'll be staying in, where all the action will take place.
It was a really informative course and we both feel like we learned a LOT from it. I feel like I'm better prepared now for what to expect, and I'm going into it with my eyes wide open. I'm still very scared of the actual labor pains but I know that I can do it, and I know exactly what will happen, so I can get myself prepared mentally.
There were ten other couples in the class; everyone there was having their first baby. We were surprised that many of the couples were in their 30's. It made us feel like maybe we weren't so old after all! I think a lot of people in their 30's are more responsible and are really trying to be completely prepared and take the pregnancy more seriously than say, someone who is 21.
We have two more classes to take over the next month. One on Breastfeeding and one on Baby Care Basics. I think we will be just about as prepared as we can be when she decides to arrive. Only 9.5 more weeks until we get to meet our baby girl!
I'm more excited than ever.

Shower Swag
I took a picture of all of the gifts we got at the Shower on Friday night. We got some really cute things!
Carla Sue also got a little gift for me (candy and some scented candles) and even Benny (a dog treat and a toy)! She didn't want him to feel left out LOL.
I had fun putting all of our stuff away today. I'm trying to get organized!
Biggity Biggs
I have hit the 28-week (or 7 month) milestone, hooray! This past weekend was busy but a lot of fun. We went to a baby shower thrown for us by Carla Sue and her boyfriend Bryan on Friday evening - it was so much fun! We had dinner and played games and everyone had a great time. She went to a LOT of work and preparation for the event and it paid off. I'm lucky to have such a great friend! I will try to post some photos from the shower if I can get some. Of course Thom and I didn't take any (boo) and I think a few people may have but I'll have to track them down. I have GOT to get better at taking photos! I'm sure when the baby gets here it wont be a problem :)
On Saturday we went down to Addison for my friend Lenna's daughter's graduation party. She was graduating High School and they had a big party for her so we went to support them. It was a really nice day and we got to sit outside in the shade for a few hours by the pool. Then we came back in to the air conditioning promptly haha.
I took a few photos of myself to show the "28 week" progress. You can see some of the gifts in the background that we haven't unpacked from the shower on Friday yet. We got a lot of awesome things! I'll try to post some pictures of those too.
As for now, I'm getting Biggity Biggs! It's getting harder for me to get up and down from sitting and sleeping is pretty scattered too. But, at least I know I'm in the homestretch of the last Trimester. Yay!

Benny turns 2!
Today was Benny's 2nd birthday. He is now officially 2 years old, or 14 in "dog years". Either way, he is still my little baby!
