Hadley was really happy in one of her new outfits that she got for Christmas from Granny and Grandpa. So I decided to prop her up and take some photos.

That Darn Thumb
Hadley is obsessed with sucking her thumb. She is inconsolable without it. I guess it's a good thing that she can self-soothe, but still. The lady at her Montessori told me that Hadley was really fussy the other afternoon and she couldn't figure out why, then she discovered that the sleeve of Hadley's shirt was covering her thumb. Once she rolled it up, in her mouth the thumb went, and all was well.
Before the thumb: (inconsolable)
After the thumb: (happy and peaceful)

Un-bear-ably Cute
Hadley is growing so quickly!! She will be 5 months old tomorrow. I am trying to make sure she gets wear out of all of her cute outfits before they are outgrown. I put her in this adorable bear outfit (that I think my mom gave us) a few days ago and took some photos. I'm not sure if she will be able to wear it again, since it is getting too small. The little hat with the bear on it and the bear booties are too cute!

Fluffy Foofy TuTu
I had to do a little photo shoot of Hadley in her adorable red tutu. The tutu was a Christmas gift from my boss at work, Donna. Donna also gave Hadley a pair of red christmas socks with white fur trim and a book about a little girl who was a ballerina. Such a sweet, thoughtful gift! And I think Hadley looks darling in the tutu. She kept trying to eat it though haha. Also, she is sitting on the quilt that Emily's mom made for her (Sister Howe), and she was mesmerized by the pattern. It was all I could do to get her to stop looking at the quilt pattern and look at the camera (or to stop looking at the pattern while eating the tutu).
I got ONE photo of her laughing, but it was blurry. I'm still posting it though!

Hadley loves her Jumparoo!!!
Here is a photo and some videos of Hadley playing in her Jumparoo that Granny and Grandpa gave her for Christmas this year. She has been doing the spit bubbles with her mouth a LOT lately. We really do wipe her mouth constantly, even though you wouldn't know it in these videos.
The second video cracks me up because she looks at the eye on the frog behind her and then gets this funny look on her face and looks away like she is weirded out by it. She does all these funny things all the time and doesn't realize it, but it makes us laugh.
The Jumparoo was the "big gift" from my parents for Hadley for Christmas. They did so much for her, though- we are so blessed! My mom sent a ton of toys and clothes. It seemed like we were getting packages all the time the few weeks before Christmas! My Granny (Hadley's Great-Granny) sent some beautiful dresses and clothes and Hadley's uncle Blake and uncle Taylor sent her some clothes as well. I think she was pretty spoiled!! The toys that she got included some rattles, some colorful rings and stacking cups, a dolly and a squeeky giraffe toy, a toy arch for her car seat, a floor mirror, and some learning and development toys. I think she had a pretty great Christmas. Even though my family wasn't here to spend it with us, we were able to open gifts with them and my Granny on iChat on Christmas evening, so they got to see Hadley and see her open some presents. We are really looking forward to seeing them in person in February though!!
